November offers some great selections for romance lovers. Look for Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World and Ben Stiller and Teri Polo in Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers (in anticipation of the December 2010 release of Little Fockers). Set in the late 1950s and early 1960s, young Juli Baker enjoys an ongoing crush on her neighbor, a shy boy with pretty blue eyes. Her seemingly eccentric family disgraces the neighborhood in the eyes of his outwardly proper parents. Nonetheless, an interfering grandfather manages to bring the two families together, and Juli gets to know her crush a little better, for better or worse. As the two children race toward puberty, their positions regarding first kisses and true love come under analysis. The story flips perspectives as well as flipping emotions.

The soon-to-be comedy trilogy of Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers kicks off on Blu-ray November 30 with the first two films to get audiences ready for the December theatrical release of Little Fockers. The movies feature comic confrontations between an accident-prone male nurse (Ben Stiller) who courts, then marries, the daughter (Teri Polo) of a former CIA interrogator (Robert De Niro) who takes an instant dislike to him. What began as a romantic comedy soon turned into a popular comedy franchise.
Also look for Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the romantic comedy crime thriller Knight and Day coming out on November 30 on Single Disc, Blu-ray, Two-Disc Blu-ray Holiday Gift, and Three-Disc Blu-ray Combo. In this film, a woman finds herself entangled in the life of a secret agent whose life is in danger.
Another great November 30 release: Going the Distance starring Drew Barrymore and Justin Long in a long-distance love affair.
